Beskrivning
These 4 immersions are open to anyone wanting to deepen their yoga practice. Each immersion can be booked individually and can be taken in any order. The immersions are open to all yoga practioners
Taken together, the four immersions constitute the first half of the 200-hour Dynamic yoga teacher training. In practice though, this involves close to 300 hours of contact hours in training. To become certified in this 200hour training you will need to complete all four immersion modules (again in no particular order) plus a 3 week residential ‘Teaching Skills’ intensive with Godfrey Devereux and Olivia Crooks. This is held each September in France at Windfire School of Yoga. Any trained teacher with a 200 hour certificate from another school of yoga, can add these hours to this 200hour training to make 500hours.
Each day will include a long yoga practice with pranayama and meditation and a presentation of the postures and techniques used in the morning practice. The afternoon consists of a guided exploration of the techniques and if time another short yoga class at the end of the day.

OLIVIA CROOKS
Totally committed to allowing the wisdom of life to guide her through the intelligence of the body Olivia has a manner and teaching style based on the depths and subtleties of her personal practice. Inspiring and supportive, she is able to invite practitioners of all experience to go deeper into their own nature safely and effectively, while bringing new, liberating insights from the mat into daily life. She began formal Yoga teacher training in Sydney, Australia by completing 1000hrs in 2001. Since 2004 she has been studying the Dynamic Yoga Training Method closely with its originator Godfri Devereux, and has completed 10,000 hrs in a Teachers Apprenticeship with him. She is one of only two certified Senior Trainers of the Method.
BIRGITTE GORM HANSEN (www.dynamicyoga.dk)
Is one of the five senior teachers in Dynamic Yoga. Originally trained as a psychologist (Ph.D) she started practicing yoga in 1996 and has taught since 2001. Birgitte is based in Copenhagen, Denmark but frequently teaches workshops and retreats in Scandinavia and around Europe.
Birgitte has studied with Godfrey Devereux through all her years of teaching and has been assisting Dynamic Yoga Teacher trainings since 2006. Her instruction is joyfully clear and comes from a deep commitment to help students access their teacher within. Her classes invite you to subtlety deepen the awareness of your physical body and establish the deepest possible intimacy with life, just as it is.
In her practice and teaching she enquires into the possibility of falling lightheartedly from the pedestal of knowledge into the arms of wisdom.
SARAH WILDE (www.dynamicyogateacher.co.uk): Sarah Wilde has been practising yoga for over 15 years and teaching for 10, she is an authorised Senior Dynamic Yoga Teacher with over 2,000 hours of certified training. She is the senior teacher of dynamicyogateacher.co.uk and runs a very busy schedule teaching courses, classes and workshops in and around London and Essex.
Through direct experience, Sarah feels that yoga can bring us to a greater sense of who and what we are, becoming more comfortable with what we discover along the way. As a teacher she is able to open those doors for others, giving her students the opportunity to uncover the inherent wisdom inside their own bodies, while bringing them closer to feeling deeply intimate with who and what they are.
Her teaching is thorough, clear and to the point, at the same time being supportive, gentle and insightful.

o travels extensively in Europe, guiding workshops and retreats, mentoring yoga teachers and co- teaching Dynamic Yoga immersions/ trainings with Olivia Crooks.
Her teaching is informed by a deep commitment and passion for yoga that spans more than two decades, beginning in India where she lived, studied and practiced for most of the 90’s.
She established the Nowbeyoga space in Sitges, Spain in 2008, offering classes and courses in a beautiful intimate setting to the local community.
Jo brings a savvy, experiential knowledge and intuitive eye, gleaned from thousands of hours on the mat, in teaching and in study with influential yoga teachers and Advaita gurus.
She began teaching in 1998, underwent several trainings before meeting Godfrey Devereux in 2000 and completing an extensive training in the dynamic yoga methodology. Ever inspired by the evolution of the dynamic yoga method and by her principle teacher Godfrey she returns to study and practice each year.:
