Beskrivning
This master programme educates designers who can work in multidisciplinary teams that develop interactive IT products and services for private and public organisations. The programme is organised as a full-time education, and requires students to contribute with time and energy equivalent to that of a full-time job. The programme is based on project work in a design studio, in which students learn through completing projects in teams and individually.
Programme taught in English by SDU Design, Kolding.
Intelligent products of the future will change the ways in which people work and play. To do this requires empathy and responsibility on the part of designers to envision these developments. It requires skills of critical judge and an open-minded attitude. It requires competencies beyond traditional engineering and computer science to engage in a multidisciplinary team for the development of successful products and services, which benefit the world.
IT Product Design educates such designers.
Studio-based Learning
Through an intense two-year master programme students work within a design studio. Projects with emphasis on hands-on and user-centred approaches are completed collaboratively and individually.
Cross-disciplinary Programme
The aim of this master programme is to educate designers who can work in multidisciplinary teams that develop interactive IT products like home appliances, industrial sensors and controls, medical devices, and leisure products. The programme targets manufacturing industries that are not normally associated with IT.
