Secondary school in Iceland, Trollaskagi is a distributed school in Ólafsfjörður, which began operating in autumn 2010. The school operates a new law that provide increased flexibility in the choice of study for matriculation and college degree. The school offers an ambitious program with diverse teaching methods that focus on student performance and independence.
It is assumed that students will complete their studies in the school of continuous workday in which the program is divided into training under supervision of teachers, self-study with access to learning support or distance learning.
The motto of the school are: Initiative - Creativity - Courage
It is important that staff and students have the initiative to promote the school and created his niche. Creativity is a basic element providing focused on arts and culture in schools.
